The unit Shipped fine and timely. Though when opening the package there was a heavy plastic smell that I could not wash away. With the more recent awareness of harmful plastic compounds, I didn’t want to take any chances and returned the unit. I did give it the college try of soaking it overnight in vinegar and water, then with soapy water, the soapy and vinegar water, soaked all pieces. The unit put out a nice mist, but the odor was in the mist also.
Happy with the operation of the unit, style, options, etc. just couldn’t live with the smell.
