I bought this humidifier for my girlfriend yesterday. She has a history of sinus problems in the evening. We turned the humidifier on for the first time, and voila! . . . No cold. We both could not believe it! She likes the way you can adjust the humidity. Your favorite level to 55% humidity. If we do it. . . we’re good to go! Personally, I like how quiet the machine when it comes to “silent fog sets. Needless to say, we both recommend you buy this product. . . 5 stars! Rating: 5 / 5

I bought this as a replacement for a very similar device a few months ago. I was a little wary about buying this humidifier on the basis of the experiences of others who complained of a foul odor after about two weeks use. I have my humidifier in constant use for the last 8 weeks and I’ve had no problem with odor from the device. Holmes Humidifier bacteriostat I use every time that I fill the tank. I use this with any of the three humidifier in the house, and I’ve never had a problem with the smell in one of them (two with and) without filters. Overall, this is a beautiful unit, which has worked very well, the house humidy . It has several settings from a quiet mode to a very high humidity return mode. We’ve found that we do not run much better in the morning when the humidiers – Waking up with more winter morning nose (irritation and congestion in the nose and paranasal sinuses) by dry air. I am really disappointed with this humidifier. It stops working after two months (I it on and nothing happens). During the short time that it worked, they have very little to increase the humidity in one small room. Also, that the hygrometer is installed in the humidifier is not correct. It showed a much higher percentage than humidity was shown at a high level of quality free-standing (properly calibrated) hygrometer that I am always in the room. It is far too expensive to operate, so bad and last so short a time. I would recommend to be found elsewhere. Rating: 1 / 5

PROS: – Large tank capacity – Efficient and fast to raise humidity – Good digital control (after Hack – Does not create white dust – Good price CONS: – Unbelievable design flaw in my unit: the humidity sensor is located inside the unit! Essentially measurement of humidity through the wick, which apparently still high. No amendment of digital control is useless. See workaround below. – As in other reviews that the wick comes with the machine, mentioned decays very quickly (I had after a week replacement). But it seems the replacement wicks are much better. I do not know if they had changed the design, but I have a new wick a few months and it is in good condition (I use water with ten drops of unscented bleach per tank distilled) – sensor in my unit reads 10% higher than a calibrated Hygrometer.Workaround of Sensor Error: Option A: Continuous blowing air onto the sensor with a ventilator. thus assuring removal of the sensor actually senses humidity. Option B: the sensor from the device and put an extension cord. Place the sensor in a more rational location! Rating: 3 / 5

The Graco 4 gallons automatically keeps the humidity you, it is quiet, easy to fill and does not wet his surroundings. If you follow the instructions, it is odorless. What more could you want. Rating: 5 / 5
