I googled it, and I still have no idea what a contact room is. Medical labs have bought these for years and have no problem with the packaging.
This mask is not individually wrapped, and NEITHER are the 3M’s of this shape. The only 3M individually wrapped are the ones that fold flat. The 8511’s and the other “bowl” shaped 3M masks ship just like these, with no wrapper.
The 3M 9211 and this mask are both good. This mask fits nicely over the nose, instead of having a bendable wire. This mask is sturdier than the 3M masks, because of an extra layer, made of fabric mesh, on the outside.
This mask is a bit hotter to wear in summer, because it’s thicker.
A good mask, and the toughest and longest lasting.
