We purchased this product locally on a big box retailer, when he satisfied with the VS207. The VS205 is sold for the same price as the VS207 in the last year and is a poor substitute. I had this humidifier for 3 winters and it works better than I had expected. I did not even change the filter cartridge yet, although I do not know really know how you shall, when the filter needs replacement.
