I bought the Vicks vaporizer, because I needed something quick for my sick wife, and this model was the only thing around. I needed something fast, because it was the last moment I realized that it was just too difficult ever to take care of our wonderful Hanks Craft evaporator, which we had got maybe 10 years good service erhalten.So finally, the OSHA evaporator. Or perhaps it is the no-corporate-liability evaporator, or may not have won the “defense lawyers have, so let’s all give up” evaporator. Brand new out of the box, this thing is the smallest amount of steam coolest possible that I can imagine. Yes, it will gradually dampen a room, but only schrittweise.Mein head was really stuffed up today. In order to clear myself, I usually with a towel over his head and the evaporator. I have now with this device, and it was hardly in a position to steam up the air under the towel. Not much relief, fear ich.Ich would buy this device, only as a last resort. I wish that Hanks Craft nor what the really powerful and maintainable evaporator that has our family through years of cold. This device is a Vicks has redeeming quality, though. I think this is a fire hazard plain and simple. I would never leave it unattended in a nursery, day and night. The device works, but I can not believe it. There is no on / off switch, just a plug. You have to manually disconnect plug or the device. The area around the machine is saturated with water and it makes me nervous going into the vicinity of the outlet on the morning ziehen.Es on the machine is inexpensive but I would go for a high-end humidifier next time. Well, I live in New York and had a little salt into the water that they produce a reasonable amount of steam to add, so do not forget some salt handy. KAS makes this thing and they are a dangerous Stoff.Ich bought both KAS (Wick) Humidifier V745A and RWM-975n and they both had the same problem. YOU leaking water on the floor! A gas leak from the cap, the other leaks no matter how you mount the water tank. A coincidence? No, make terrible KAS Luftbefeuchter.Bewertung: 1 / 5
